Parent Support & Coaching

Being a parent is wonderful. It can also be incredibly stressful and overwhelming.

Kids and teens today are under more pressure than ever, especially with the added complexity of phones, social media, and social disconnection. Which means parents are under more pressure too.

What if you had a place to think out loud about what’s happening, and feel supported as you navigate it all with more confidence, steadiness, and a stronger sense of connection with your child or teen?

When emotions run high, communication breaks down, or behavior feels confusing, it’s easy to slip into doubt and frustration. Many parents find themselves stuck in patterns that don’t feel good, constant arguing, shutdowns, meltdowns, or ongoing stress around school, friendships, or screens, without a clear path forward.

Parenting can also feel surprisingly isolating. Even with a network of family and friends, it’s not always easy to talk openly about what’s really happening. Having a confidential, objective space to think things through can make a meaningful difference.

As a certified parent coach, I work with parents to navigate the day-to-day challenges that come up with kids and teens, helping them build more steadiness, connection, and confidence in the moments that matter most.

Together, we slow things down, look at what may be happening beneath the behavior, and focus on practical ways to respond that reduce conflict, strengthen connection, and help kids and teens build confidence and resilience from the inside out.

My work often complements therapy. While therapy may focus on the child or family system, these sessions focus on supporting the parent, building tools, perspective, and confidence in real-life situations as they unfold.

My approach combines compassionate listening with practical guidance grounded in emotional regulation, mindfulness, and child development.

In each session, parents leave with:

Helpful reframes
New ways to understand what may be happening beneath their child’s behavior.

Practical tools
Simple, research-informed strategies they can begin using right away.

The goal is simple: helping parents feel less stuck and more confident in everyday moments, and able to experience more of the joy of being a parent.

Parent Support Sessions

Private, one-on-one conversations for parents who want guidance around a specific challenge or support in shifting a difficult pattern with their child or teen.

Sessions are held via Zoom, making it easy to connect from wherever you are.

Some parents come for a single session to talk through a situation and leave with a clearer path forward. Others choose ongoing support as they practice new approaches.

These sessions are practical, supportive, and grounded in real life.

Common Focus Areas

These are some of the areas parents most often want support with:

Navigating Meltdowns & Big Emotions
Helping kids move through emotional overwhelm while maintaining connection and boundaries, and learning how to stay steady in the moment.

Breaking the Power Struggle Cycle
When everyday interactions and transitions turn into constant battles. Shift out of reactive patterns and toward more cooperation and ease.

Reconnecting with Your Teen
When communication feels strained or distant. Rebuild trust and open the door to more meaningful connection.

Helping Kids Manage Stress & Anxiety
Supporting kids through academic pressure, social stress, and worry, while strengthening resilience.

Finding the Balance with Screens & Phones
Moving out of constant negotiation, conflict, or worry around devices. Create clearer boundaries, reduce friction, and help kids develop a healthier relationship with technology.

Staying Steady as a Parent
For parents who feel overwhelmed, reactive, or exhausted. Build tools to stay grounded and respond in ways that reduce conflict and increase connection.

If this resonates, I’d love to connect.
