About Vanessa

Hi, I’m Vanessa — a parent coach, consultant, and community collaborator dedicated to helping people thrive at home, at work, and in the world around them.

My work is rooted in one simple belief: connection changes everything. Whether I’m supporting a parent through the daily stress of raising kids, helping a mission-driven team bring a big idea to life, or designing mental health programs for teens — my goal is always to bring more clarity, compassion, and capacity into people’s lives.

A career grounded in purpose

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped leaders and teams solve complex problems, implement new ideas, and navigate change. From early-stage startups to Fortune 500s, I’ve led initiatives in strategic planning, team development, process design, and organizational change — always with a collaborative, people-centered approach.

As my work evolved, so did my focus. I became increasingly passionate about mental health and emotional well-being, especially the challenges facing today’s youth. That led me to work within my community to create programs that give teens space to learn science-backed tools for well-being in an engaging, low-pressure way. Supporting students and seeing the ripple effects in families deepened my commitment to help more communities develop programs that proactively support well-being for young people and their parents.

The personal becomes professional

I’m also a mom of two, and like so many parents, I’ve faced the doubts, stress, and exhaustion that come with raising kids in today’s world. That experience — combined with the care and insight I gained from coaching and trusted frameworks — led me to become a certified parent coach.

Now, I support parents who are navigating the complex and often overwhelming job of raising kids — especially when traditional strategies don’t seem to work. I draw from neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness, and I’m trained in the Connected Parenting framework — a science-backed approach that blends love and limits, connection and discipline, to help kids build confidence and resilience from the inside out.

A journey rooted in connection

I live in Hingham, Massachusetts with my family and our three dogs. Over the years, I’ve called many places home — from Ohio to Brazil, Belgium to London, San Francisco to New York — and each transition has shaped the way I understand people, change, and community. Through it all, I’ve come to believe that connection is what grounds us. No matter where we are or what we’re going through, feeling seen and supported makes all the difference. That belief is at the heart of my work — whether I’m supporting parents through the challenges of family life, helping leaders bring a vision to life, or partnering with communities to make well-being more accessible. The most meaningful progress happens when we support one another.Wherever you are on your journey — as a parent, a leader, or a community builder — I’d love to connect.

Let’s do this together.
