About Vanessa

I've spent more than 25 years inside some of the world's most demanding organizations — and the last six years studying what actually allows people to perform well inside them.

My career has taken me across management consulting, corporate leadership, and independent advisory work — from Accenture to Gap Inc., where I held progressive leadership roles across San Francisco, London, and New York, to founding Vanessa Webb Consulting in 2017, working independently with multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 clients. Those years — inside large organizations and alongside them as an outside advisor — gave me a deep appreciation for what high-stakes pressure actually feels like, and what it costs when the people inside an organization are running on empty.

That question — what allows people to think clearly, lead wisely, and stay grounded when the stakes are highest — became the focus of the next chapter. Over the last six years I've immersed myself in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, positive psychology, and awareness training, and I'm currently completing a two-year formal meditation teacher certification. I've designed and delivered programs for corporate teams, nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups — and the through-line across all of it is the same: when people develop the inner capacities to meet difficulty with steadiness and clarity, everything else works better.

My consulting and program work sits at the intersection of organizational performance and human development. I work with leaders and teams who are navigating disruption, uncertainty, and the pressure to perform — helping them develop the focus, flexibility, and steadiness that separate good leaders from exceptional ones.

The fuller picture

I'm also a certified parent coach, and I work with parents navigating the complex and often exhausting job of raising kids in today's world. That work draws from the same body of knowledge — neuroscience, psychology, and awareness — and reflects the same belief: the inner work is where lasting change begins, whether you're leading a team or raising a teenager.

I live in Hingham, Massachusetts with my family and three Labradors. My path here wound through Ohio, Brazil, Belgium, London, San Francisco, and New York — and each place shaped how I understand people, change, and what it means to feel at home in uncertainty.

I'd love to connect.
